We manufacture and install gazebo greenhouses in the State of Alaska. These are great looking, sturdy hobby greenhouses which give you that wonderful sun room feel even on a cool day in Alaska.
These greenhouse units are of a panel design, bolt together, and can be installed about 5 hours, ready to use and enjoy. We recommend the unit be placed on a foundation like a crushed rock pad, concrete pad, landscape timbers, or a deck supplied by the customer as it will keep the unit clean and dry. It is best to figure about a foot of perimeter gravel to catch the water running off the roof, which keeps the dirt from back splashing on the siding.

We usually carry a full set of lower shelves (9) on the delivery trailer for the 13' greenhouses and the customer can decide at delivery how many of those shelves they'd like. Upper shelves should be specified prior to delivery so that I can have some on the truck. You can always order shelves down the road if you decide you could use a few more. People generally prefer lots of shelves in the spring when they have their flats and garden starts in the greenhouse, but as the plant grow the shelving can get in the way.
** The treated wood foundation we offer is installed directly below the exterior walls and makes the unit easy to install without putting in a gravel pad first. Later the inside should be filled in with gravel or foam and gravel to make a floor which is comfortable to walk on.
Alaska Greenhouse was started in 2009 and we have delivered over 85 units to date from Kodiak to Fairbanks. These units can handle Alaskan snow loads and high wind locations with proper tie downs.
All the wood (hem/fir) materials are completely stained before assembly and the bottom plates are pressure treated for ground contact. The clear panels are a polycarbonate material called Suntuf marketed by Palram. Suntuf is very flexible, doesn't fade or yellow with time, and doesn't shatter or crack when struck, but it can be scratched.
